#EFMC14: An amazing talk by Stéphane Popinet on winds, clouds, drops, bubbles, and oceanic currents. Video: an absolutely fantastic simulation of the gulf stream using basilisk.fr #ilovefs, and (sound-on) the appreciation from the whole #fluiddynamics community.

At #EFMC14 in Athens, Patrick Huerre and Uriel Frisch got honored with the Euromech Fluid Dynamics Prizes 2020 and 2022 for their seminal contributions to fluid dynamics: Congratulations to two giants of our field! And thanks for their intellectual leadership!
