Fun with potatoes

From midnight, ie in about five minutes, I'll be eating only potatoes for a month. I'll be posting results and thoughts here.

Blood test results due this week. My blood pressure is 113/81, which I am told is Healthy.

I've previously been keto for a month and not seen such a strong effect. This diet works better than anything else where I go to bed full. I have a blood test booked later today (I failed to do this at the start of the potato diet, so results won't mean much).

31 days of the #potatodiet complete and at 78.6kg I've lost 2.4kg Weight fluctuates a lot- yesterday I was 77.5 (for 3.5kg loss). I had been prompted to weigh myself by noticing I have visible abs. My first meal post-potato diet is, uh, potatoes with butter. I'd missed butter.

Just realized today that by doing @mold_time's potato diet, we are inadvertently living through @andyweirauthor's The Martian, just with higher gravity, breathable air, and I don't look like Matt Damon. Shit. Now I want a refund on my potato diet.

@fotatopat I relate to this so hard.

Potato Diet Day 21: it's funny, I can feel myself running out of novel things to say as the month progresses. I will eventually convert to mindlessly recounting the days, I'm sure, but trying to keep things relevant as best I can. You're welcome. 🤣Bit of a cheat day today.
