We are closely monitoring negotiations between Air Canada and CUPE. At this time, we encourage passengers currently booked with Air Canada to check the airline’s website and any direct communication from AC for options to cancel or reschedule flights booked in the coming days.

We are seeing some impacts to flight schedules today at YVR as a result of constraints at NAV CANADA. Passengers are asked check the status of their flight directly with their airline before heading to the airport.

NAV CANADA has informed airlines and the airport that it will be able to provide standard operations today. Travellers are encouraged to check latest flight status at yvr.ca or with their airline.

A vehicle fire in our parking lot is being attended to by the Comox Fire Department. There is no threat to public safety, and the situation is under control. We appreciate your patience as emergency crews complete their response.
