Come on @calgarytransit how difficult is it to change just one of the numerous Saddletown trains downtown over to a Somerset train so we can start moving some people out of downtown??🤦♂️😠 @JeromyYYC
@RepRobertGarcia as a Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee, why are you not taking action against Bondie to have her jailed for contempt of court? Only 1% of the files have been released. Why are you taking your foot off the gas??
@JeromyYYC Remember Calgary when Nenshi was in power and taxes increased 33% during his first three-year term, and an additional 14.37% property tax increase through three years of Nenshi's second four-year term in office and this is what we are today:
The UCP's statement of defence is yet another chapter in the #CorruptCare saga.
Albertans deserve better.
We deserve answers.
And we won't have them until the Premier calls an independent, judge-led, public inquiry. #ableg#abpoli

“Premier Smith is obsessed with being the centre of attention, talking about what she’s doing but not actually doing the work,” Nenshi said in an interview Tuesday. #ablegcalgaryherald.com/opinion/column…
I’m excited to kick off 2025 with some personal news. Alberta’s New Democrats are on the move.
Last year we became one of the largest provincial political parties in Canada and I became leader! And we didn’t stop there.
Since then, folks from all corners of this province have been reaching out with their support and advice. I’ve gotten to know and work with a fantastic caucus of New Democrat MLAs. I’ve spent the last six months with the team listening to Albertans about their worries, their priorities, and their hopes.
As you know, with our former leader Rachel Notley’s retirement, I have an opportunity to join our MLAs in the Legislature. I believe Alberta New Democrats can be a thoughtful government-in-waiting with real solutions for Alberta families.
That’s why I’m officially announcing today that I’m putting my name forward for nomination as the Alberta NDP candidate in Edmonton-Strathcona for an upcoming by-election.
This doesn’t mean I’m leaving Calgary behind! While still proudly Calgarian, I’m already dividing my time between the two cities and I’m looking forward to learning more about Edmonton.
This nomination means that I’ll be in the Legislature to go head-to-head with Danielle Smith soon.
If you’re an Alberta New Democrat member in Edmonton-Strathcona - I hope you’ll join us at our nomination meeting January 22.
