It was noteworthy that the team leaders went heavy on Matvei Michkov support when asked about him.
Pretty clear they're all still committed to making the Michkov/Flyers relationship work. If there's any frustration behind closed doors, they made sure not to show it. That's big.

I will say though. I do get the fan frustration of him not being in the photo. There have been stories all season about him struggling to fit in and being alone. He’s a young guy who is trying to make the hardest league in the world and we hope he’s not doing it alone.

Flyers shouldn’t be mad at all how ever this series went. The Penguins laid an egg and they took advantage. But the fact is even with Tippett they had no chance against Carolina. The biggest mistake they can do is abandoning the process next year . Foundation is almost there 👍
