Seems it’s 225 day! Simply great machines and always a highlight of being in the north seeing these every now and then. Will be a big shame when these are all withdrawn which is why the preservation of these are so important!

Incredibly, the Fergus arrived from the prop auction last year with the original screws to hold on the buffer beam, but not the actual beam itself! The buffer beam had been tossed by Mattel in 2017 with the prop clear out.

Back in December the Close-Up scale Fergus buffer beam was auctioned off in a lot and lost forever… Except that I won the lot and now it sits proudly on the Close-Up Fergus! Presumably for the first time since Season 7 filming ended in 2002.

I’ve been rewatching seasons 8-12 recently a lot for the first time in almost 10 years, it’s quite interesting. I really really enjoy the sound design and score + I really like how the faces look I think the HiT era is the 3rd best era of Thomas, much better than nitrogen-

@mrslowking642 The hit era and even the miller era, as strange as the writing is, were still fun to watch. I didn’t care when I was a kid because it was still Thomas. I liked Thomas. Who cares if all of the plots are the same? I’d watch the same episodes over and over anyway.
