I will say that if you’ve watched the first 3 Indiana Jones movies and loved them, this simply has to be a game you play. It’s also a great narrative piece that builds on an already rich universe. I have yet to play the DLC, but I plan on it and hope they make more of these

Figuring how to advance was never difficult since many of the puzzles were incredibly intuitive. I always like that they offer others the option to get hints. I loved the locations in-game, especially since I had just been to the Vatican irl. I didn’t enjoy the water level tho

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review: I am incredibly glad that I went through the Indiana Jones movies I hadn’t seen yet bc this game felt exactly like how his canon was meant to be experienced. It felt like a wonderful addition to the legendary series but stands alone well

Just finishing the main story of Pokopia. What a fun, fun, fun game. Completely floored by how much I enjoyed it after not thinking I’d even get it.

The Pokémon XD release is one of the only times I wish I was involved in circles actively talking about video games. Like I have so much wisdom and advice about the game and how best to enjoy it. Yet no one to share it with 😢 I just hope kids are loving it like I did.

Why I (personally) won’t be playing the Switch 2 version of pokémon XD: • I still have my GameCube & numerous memory cards • I have played it many times • there is no new content • no Home/GBA support • can’t use my Action Replay for new encounters/forced shinies

I’m so so so happy that a new generation of younger people are finally able to play Pokémon XD and I’m able to see their reactions to it in real time.

Thread of each pokémon team I have used from every playthrough I complete. In order of when I’ve finished or when I’ve rediscovered the game file. Just cataloguing for my own posterity and bemusement.

As someone who has played a bunch of Yakuza and is just starting Pokopia, I can tell that they have given Pinsir a Kansai accent in the Japanese localization just based on how he speaks like Majima #Pokopia

Yakuza Kiwami 3 has been a substantial upgrade in practically every regard from the original. But whose dumb decision was it to straight up force Kiryu to progress through Bad Boy Dragon storylines before being able to leave Okinawa? I was going to play it at my own pace. Awful.

Missing out on a game bc of an irrational fear is crazy. I played Deadly Creatures when I had a crippling fear of spiders in my early teens, & it helped me rationalize what I was afraid of. I’m incredibly woke, but there’s a point where if you wanna play a game you gotta nut up.

As I mentioned, I’ve been enjoying Mario Kart for decades. It’s so engrossing to throw on a 150cc race and blast the well curated music whilst playing. I hope the game gets DLC to introduce more life to free roam and include many more characters that would be great to use.

Even the stickers aren’t worth the hassle since you can only apply one at a time. It served as a way to really explore the existing tracks but it didn’t provide enough replayability in this mode. I also was never a fan of the unlock methods of NPC characters, even after the patch

Mario Kart World review: It feels like this game promised much more than it could deliver. I have played enough tracks and I have formed my opinion that it’s an incredibly smooth game that felt more hollow than I was hoping.
