L22 Seafront Gardens

The daffodils are out in force in all of our Gardens at the moment and it's looking nice and Springy! Spotted this busy bee whilst we were litter picking at Potters Barn over the weekend - he very kindly hung around for a photo opportunity! 🐝🐝

Thanks to everyone who came along to help with gardening today. We worked on the rockery at Marine Garden, weeding and tidying up. Amazingly we avoided the rain!!

Thanks to everyone who came to help with litter picking in Potters Barn this morning. It was lovely and sunny, and in addition to litter picking we also did some weeding in the rose bed and raised bed. Thanks everyone. 🌷

Thanks to everyone who came along to help with yesterday's gardening session. We have virtually finished the tidying up of the back corner in Crescent Garden. Just a bit more edging to do and the transformation will be complete!

Thanks to everyone who came to help at yesterday's volunteer session. We did some work at Marine Garden around the rockery. It's been a busy few weeks for us - big thanks goes out to those who have helped throughout - you can take a well earned rest now!

Thanks to everyone who came along to help this morning. We had a great turn out with 16 volunteers, so in addition to litter picking, we also cleared a bench area and moved the pond debris to the gate ready for collection by Green Sefton

Great turn out this morning for our maintenance session at Crescent Garden. When we started working on this section it was so overgrown that none of the paths or walls were visible. Look at it now! 😀. A special thanks students from Newfield School who came along to help.

Massive thankyou to everyone who has helped over the past two days at Beach Lawn Garden with our annual pond maintenance. We have had 30 volunteers over the weekend who have done a brilliant job!

Thanks to the volunteers who came to help at Beach Lawn today. We managed to avoid the rain and even had sun at one point! Spent a few hours cutting back the grass edges and excess reeds. We'll be out there again tomorrow at 1:30pm - everyone welcome. Remember to bring wellies!

thanks to the 9 volunteers who came along to help with Wednesday's session. It was the sunniest day of the week and we worked for a couple of hours on the back corner of Crescent Garden. Well done everyone!

@westgeorgy Hi - we have planted thousands of bulbs last year which hopefully will look lovely in the spring.

@FoWSG1 how about planting some flowers? These parks are bleak and depressing. Devoid of wildlife.

Our next garden maintenance session is Wednesday 28th January - weather permitting! We will meet in Crescent Garden at 1pm. We are planning to carry on working in the back corner of the garden and hopefully get that area looking neat and tidy. Fingers crossed for the weather!

Hot on the heels of last week's first snowdrops, we have just spotted the first daffodils of the year in Crescent Garden! 🙂

The race for the first snowdrops of 2026 has been won by this little bunch in Marine Garden!

A good start to our year with 12 volunteers coming along on this cold but sunny morning to help with litter picking in Adelaide Garden. Thanks everyone. 🙂
