Western countries are shutting down their own electrode plants → less global supply. India has a big cost advantage (20-25% cheaper to produce than Western rivals), Extra growth coming from green tech too GrafTech just hiked electrode prices $600 to $1200 per tonne because they posted an EBITDA loss in Q4. Not a demand recovery, that is a distressed competitor trying to survive. Western electrode makers are bleeding. Indian players benefit from that exit, but the report assumes margin recovery to 23% for HEG when needle coke prices are rising with Brent at $96. HEG's anode business for EV batteries - core electrode business has delivered 0.12% sales growth over five years. Also, this is a deeply cyclical sector. The last time electrode prices spiked in 2018, HEG went from Rs 200 to Rs 5000 and back to Rs 800 in two years.

@Google @Android You should release Google Camera for Android phones too apart from Pixel otherwise people requiring better photo processing will keep moving to iOS. I found my Motorola Signature camera sub par in processing photos.

@SajidAh45702974 @mallikuro7 Do not take such medicines without advice from a qualified Dr. I do not remember the medicine now as it's over a decade old incident. I prefer offline consultation. Also, I think offline isn't available.

I'm not refuting your education. I'm just sharing an experience. One Dr didn't provide any other option & behaved rudely. Even after asking if the stones can pass naturally or with medicine he denied & said come only if you want to do the surgery.

@Focus_SME @mallikuro7 I am a doctor I know how stone less than 6 mm gets out of ureter slowly and suddenly

@docRS10 @mallikuro7 Nope. He explained exactly & he provided an alternative I was seeking. Yes, he told me surgery may be needed if it doesn't work. The other Doctor said surgery is the only alternative.

Deepak isn't accepting donations. IMO he should as it won't cost the donors much but will provide him a huge safety net.

3 months after the Bajrang Dal attack, the elderly Muslim shopkeeper’s Parkinson’s has worsened. The Hindu gym owner remains in distress. Empty gym, FIR against him - now even barred by the UK HC from expressing it on social media. - via @IndianExpress 🧵 Mohammad Deepak : At around 5.30 pm on a Wednesday, at Deepak’s Hulk Gym, there are about five people exercising. From 150-200 clients daily, the numbers have dropped to 45. Sitting in a corner, Deepak, 38, says business has started picking up slowly. “Right after the incident, the clientele was down to 15.” He can understand why people are keeping away, Deepak adds. “On January 31, a few people got inside the gym, scaring women who were working out. Later, police were stationed round the clock outside for security. This affected footfall.” The aid by many following the incident, including several Supreme Court Senior Advocates, has helped. They signed up for annual memberships of Rs 10,000 each, and transferred the same to locals. “I have 40 such clients now. It’s a huge relief,” says Deepak. He also cherishes the meeting he and Rawat had on February 23 with senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. “I felt seen and understood. He also spoke to my family over the phone,” Deepak says, adding, “Had it been a BJP leader too, I would have been happy because it means they respect my values.” Married, Deepak has a five-year-old daughter. On those who question his declaration that his name was ‘Mohd Deepak’, he says: “I don’t have to prove to anyone that I am a Hindu. If you want to perceive me as a Muslim, go ahead, but I am human first. They call me ‘mullah’… Muslims have contributed to building this nation. These insults will only harm the country.” Deepak also stands by his decision to confront the crowd. “Anyone can name their establishment as they choose. A mob does not have the right to barge in and order them to change it.” Last week, a petition by Deepak and Rawat to quash the FIR against them was rejected by the Uttarakhand High Court. Hearing his petition against the FIR naming him and his friend, and seeking police protection, the court called it “nothing but an attempt to influence the investigation” and to “put pressure on the investigating agency”. “Has anyone laid a hand on you?” the court asked. It also asked Deepak to keep off social media. Deepak fears the court’s observations will deter people from doing “the right thing”. Copied from @IndianExpress article for those who haven't subscription. Next tweet of the thread about Vakeel Ahmed, the shopkeeper from the Article. 🧵

@hyderabaddoctor I took it last year during my pregnancy. It was absolutely worth it. I get easily sick but this shot saved me. I am thinking of taking it this year as well as I have low immunity and it helps.
