Excuses like naming them in the second post with a link to avoid link reach punishment on X is such a crap excuse too. You could still name the game/dev in the first post, or you know.. just retweet them in the first place.

Actually, it’s pretty disgusting. Taking the efforts of others and regurgitating it to self promo essentially.

Seeing people in this industry post about indie games without tagging or naming the dev in the first post but happily using their content to farm and grab attention and thus engagement and account growth for their own profile is so disappointing and inexcusable.
