@Foenix_ the industry is changing and game devs will actually have to face some accountability for being shit at their jobs. indie is coming hard and fast at the withering husk that is the AAA industry. i'm a game dev myself and i wouldn't want to have a job i don't deserve.

There’s some really talented people at HS, and I can imagine many of them are ignored. Of course as someone from the outside, I don’t know things as fact. It does feel clear that there’s a significant leadership problem, and that’s worrying for the franchise, and for the staff.

Chiefs story has to wrap up at some point, but there’s so much more to the universe. He doesn’t need a new voice actor, a reboot, or anything else. He needs and deserves a completed story. Then we go forward with other characters.

“Takes place in our current canon” at around the 2:08 mark has me concerned.
If Halo gets rebooted at any point, I’m out. It’s such a lazy way out for story tellers. We’ve committed 25 years, there’s so much lore, so many books, so many games.
