@chickensoup1312 The level design is what often breaks people, but 80% of the time it's not that bad. The story, writing, and all other things gameplay more than make up for it imo. They are also free to play and quite configurable

@Fokker_hu i love chemlab but i know nothing about marathon, what would i be getting myself into if i took the plunge?
English

@marzaroth The similarities between the two are so apparent I couldn't believe it wasn't done already (i mean they came out at the same time)

@Fokker_hu SO FUCKING PEAK OH MY GOD!!! i've had the idea to do this for so long and you executed it perfectly. I've been saying that industrial music, especially Chemlab fits the vibe of Marathon like a glove

@jacobpking Exporting and trade routes are a big factor, and those who produce fine cloths and other valuables would likely sell a lot to societies who do not have major production of these items. People may also have clothes made by (or in the style of) a foreign nation they ally with.

@Rest4rting i have not seen many accurate modern depictions of them in this period, and even as my knowledge is somewhat limited i'm hoping to change that
English

@Fokker_hu I like how a little bummed out they look (btw this is one of the best olden depictions ive seen)
English

@sunvvalker I do not know of one set name but they are commonly called "half mask helmets" in modernity. The one in my drawing is based on the one found in Gorodets (3rd pic) but fully gilded

@CalebbInga8657 An outfit such as this would be most suited for a Rus prince
