Our national audit of 877 nephroureterectomy cases showed that diagnostic URS lowered the T0 rate by 3% but added a median of 53 days to the time to definitive surgery.
URS more than doubled the risk of bladder recurrence and increased the risk of early mets in >= T2 disease
