@safe Bybit Hot wallet, Warm wallet and all other cold wallets are fine. The only cold wallet that was hacked was ETH cold wallet. ALL withdraws are NORMAL.

Bybit ETH multisig cold wallet just made a transfer to our warm wallet about 1 hr ago. It appears that this specific transaction was musked, all the signers saw the musked UI which showed the correct address and the URL was from @safe . However the signing message was to change the smart contract logic of our ETH cold wallet. This resulted Hacker took control of the specific ETH cold wallet we signed and transfered all ETH in the cold wallet to this unidentified address. Please rest assured that all other cold wallets are secure. All withdraws are NORMAL. The biggest dispersion in the coming months will be between (A) BTC+ETH and (B) the alt market. The wealth effects of a rising BTC/ETH price are diminishing over time as more coins are absorbed by TradFi. BTC and ETH are now institutionally driven assets. Recent market flows show that TradFi bought the dip, absorbing what the German government sold, while CT was panicking, sidelined/shorting due to 2022 bear market PTSD. Blackrock's iBIT holds $20B of BTC. I'm seeing more crypto natives sell all their BTC / ETH and go down the risk spectrum into memes on this runup. OI and funding rates paint a very different picture now compared to the 1st runup to 69k in Feb, where funding rates were highly positive. At some point, even rising BTC / ETH prices won't be enough to support an alt market with unlimited supply and high inflation. Existing liquid crypto funds (that can support the market) are heavily deployed, and I'm not seeing many new ones coming up yet. Alts remain a PvP / rotatooor's game For most people, it's v hard to justify moving away from a core allocation of BTC / ETH into alts unless you know you have a very specific insight (often insider views) or edge in a particular sector. SOL is an interesting one though. It's at the tipping point of moving from B to A.

the thing about control is that it's an illusion. all you can do is set the parameters for the emergent behavior you want, and hope that it implements them in a way you like. you can't micromanage. this is the way it is with everything frompring onboarding to sexuality
