A month ago, I presented my PhD thesis on "Pedicle Screws Electrochemical Properties". A farcry from my usual research, but a challenge that was worthy to embrace. Now its time to continue pursuing my passion for land and water biomechanics, so lets go! 😁

@running_biomech @theiamarkerless @QualisysMocap Thanks! We covered the ball in reflective tape so that QTM sees it as a regular (albeit large in IR) marker. Then in Visual3d we created a kinematic segment with the volume of ball. We spent a lot of tape, but it makes capture and processing much easier.

@Fonsechanics @theiamarkerless @QualisysMocap That's a really cool demo! I'm curious how you captured the ball in Qualisys, was the ball surface reflective?

A hybrid approach using @theiamarkerless for body movement and @QualisysMocap for the ball, allows easier data collection and more natural movements, thus showing the lack of skills of yours truly 😅
