@FoodAndSports77 @jcj413 I thought the Kelly era was going to be Mora level recruiting (or better) with Chip's alleged elite scheming and game planning. Both haven't panned out. I jst don't see how year 5 is going to be magically different in either regard.

So 8-4 with Ls to Fresno, Oregon, Utah, and ASU (pretty much all the quality teams on the schedule) is good enough for the little man with a whistle to be retained? Really? In year 4? Wow.......

@jcj413 @UCLA06 100% agree. Mora's issues were liking to Kelly in the fact that he was too loyal to his assistants. Kennedy Polumalu and Jeff Ulbrich had no business being OC and DC respectively. If Spanos is DC in 2014 UCLA probably goes to the National Playoffs.

@UCLA06 @FoodAndSports77 I actually think he would have UCLA as good or better than Oregon had he been able to stay. Too many players where going there and developing into nfl players.

@UCLA06 @jcj413 If they decide to retain Chip Kelly and not fire Azzinaro then that tells you all you need to know about the program going forward. Fire in the whole staff would be great but if they retain Kelly and get rid of Azzinaro then that would be a compromise imo.

Probably not bad enough for a second year AD to sh*t can him and not good enough that it does anything for the program. '22 team loses A LOT of players
