The club have agreed to part terms with manager Ben Bukowski and coach John Burke. Ben joined the club last January, inheriting an extremely tough task and battled bravely against the drop, unfortunately unsuccessfully. Following an inconsistent season so far, the club is still deep in the relegation battle. Despite two recent wins, a tally of 11 points from 10 games since Christmas has led the board of directors to conclude that a change in management is required to give us the best chance of maintaining our Step 4 status over the next eight weeks. We’d like to place on record our thanks to Ben and John for their tireless efforts for the club, and they remain welcome at the club. They also leave with our best wishes for the future 💚 We expect to make an announcement about Ben's successor later this week.

AFC Welwyn 3️⃣-4️⃣Crawley Green 📣 Words from the Gaffer: Football can be a cruel game at times. Yesterday was one of those days where the lads weren’t at their best but still managed to grind out a 3–1 lead with just 8 minutes remaining. With a busy schedule and another game on Monday due to the ground share, it looked like we had done enough to see it out. In over twenty years in the game I’ve rarely seen a turnaround like it. Crawley Green fought back and snatched the winner with the last kick of the game and, on the balance of the final stages, they deserved the three points. The only positive is that we don’t have long to dwell on it we’ve got 48 hours to put it right. MOTM went to Guiseppe for another strong performance leading the line.🙌🏽 #uptheromans 💙🩷
