Pretty sure high school football is being way over marketed. Because you do good in high school doesn’t mean anything for college. So many different factors contribute to your overall success.
There are consistently elite teams in Michigan like:
Cass Tech, King, Muskegon, Detroit CC, OLSM, Brother Rice, De La Salle, Grand Rapids CC, Muskegon CC, East Grand Rapids, Lumen Christi, and West Catholic.
Which other teams in the future have the chance to become elite programs?

The #Bears have a top-5 WR trio in the NFL this year.
I get the hesitation after last year didn’t work out. But with a much better OL and a much better play caller, this year’s unit should be much more efficient.
🔥 Reminder: Being a 4⭐ or 5⭐ high school football recruit doesn’t guarantee success.
📉 Roughly 50% of them are a bust and never become college stars or make the NFL.
Talent gets you ranked — but work ethic, development, and fit decide the rest. #CFB#Recruiting
Funny how once coaches land top prospects, they forget how to recruit the rest. The eye test & measurables aren’t enough — you gotta recruit dawgs (toughness, heart, etc). 🐶 #CFB#RecruitingTruths
🏈 Redshirting in football = strategy, not setback.
It gives players a year to develop, learn the playbook, and adapt to the speed of the college game — all while preserving a year of eligibility.
Sometimes the bench is where champions are built. #RedshirtSeason#CollegeFootball
