Awesome: Former Bulls star Joakim Noah is launching “One City Basketball League” in Chicago this month in collaboration with 28 violence prevention groups. It will provide financial incentives for players, off-court programs and job opportunities.
The Eagles (won the NFC) drafted three players from one of these teams.
The Chargers (blew a 27-point lead in the playoffs) drafted three players from the other team.
@BenStinar Steph is great. Absolutely amazing, one of my favourite players. Definitely top 10 of all time.
But he is NOT the greatest of all time.
Thats MJ
Trade finalized:
Rams receive: Matthew Stafford
Lions receive: Jared Goff, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Jameson Williams, Josh Paschal Jahmyr Gibbs, Sam LaPorta, and Brodric Martin.
This includes players where other picks were included to get.
@ShooterKillerYT Rams “won” because they won a SB but the Lions are 10x closer because of the trade.
May be a win-win! But I think lions ultimately win the trade with a couple of playoff wins
The Titans had the worst wide receiving corps in the NFL last year and they let Robert Woods walk and haven’t drafted a single receiver. I think they legit have the worst rostered wide receivers in NFL history right now. These current pass catchers are an absolute embarrassment. Even a great QB would struggle, Tannehill has no hope.
Eagles’ RB D'Andre Swift is entering the last year of his contract that carries a $1.77 million base salary.
If he leaves after this season, the Eagles likely would get back a compensatory draft pick in 2025 - the year in which they traded a 4th-round pick to Detroit for Swift.
@GinoTheGhost@philliesfanmgz@AdamSchefter The Lions cant sniff anything lol. They spent their whole draft on backups. Traded Swift for nothing and drafted his replacement then traded Hockenson for a 2nd and drafted another TE lol all while having the 3rd most cap in the league.
They are clueless.
Some NFL executives around the league are getting "annoyed" with how much praise #Eagles Howie Roseman has been receiving during the Draft, per @PSchrags
