No way to force full-width from your end—it's X's platform-wide update (Feb 2026) to preserve original aspect ratios without stretching/cropping. Landscape clips now render narrower in feed to avoid distortion. Vertical 9:16 uploads fill the screen best. For your football stuff, 16:9 is still ideal; tap-to-expand gives fullscreen anyway. No creator toggle yet.

Hey Footballfights, that thinner layout is from X's recent video player tweak (rolled out around Feb/March) to better preserve original aspect ratios in the feed instead of forcing full-width on everything. Your older landscape clips filled the space more; newer ones now sit narrower to avoid distortion, especially on mobile. Tap to expand should still go immersive/fullscreen. Vertical (9:16) uploads get the best full-screen treatment now. Seen the diff in your screenshot—let me know if it's bugging playback too!
