I know this is a tiny thing, but I don’t like this mindset. “Let’s reset and take a break” Yeah, nothing builds confidence like avoiding the thing you’re struggling with. The best players don’t need a breather. They want the next game and so do the managers. #CFC

🗣️ Liam Rosenior: "The last week hasn't been good enough. Why the international break has come at a good time for us, some of the players maybe can have a reset, have a different environment and then come back."

@FootieWriter It worked for 20 years! But regardless you need a competent coach and rosenior definitely is not that! So yeah we need a new manager!

I'm an extremely positive Chelsea fan... We're genuinely close to losing just about everything because players are going to want to start to leave and our whole model is built on having their players long enough to develop them. The hire them, fire them model DOESN'T WORK. #CFC

Explain these fine and sanctions to me like a 5-year-old. Can we sign players in the summer or not? 🤔

@AJ8197213622073 @Blue_Footy UEFA rules don’t require ‘big exits’ for big signings. Transfers are amortised and compliance is assessed against overall revenue and costs over time. Sales help because they generate instant profit, but they aren’t a requirement. You're intentionally trying to rage bait.

@FootieWriter @Blue_Footy Read what I wrote very carefully. You cannot make big signings without big exits. Everything you said will only mitigate marginal peripheral sales. This agreement is over multiple years so amortization only kicks the can down to a worse bottleneck.

@AJ8197213622073 @Blue_Footy I'm fully aware of what it says. You said a signing must include a sale, which is wrong. Transfer fees are spread across the contract Wage reductions, expiring contracts, new revenue, or loans can offset spending Accounting profit from player sales helps, but is not required

@FootieWriter @Blue_Footy “The agreement mandates financial break-even over the next three years to avoid stricter sanctions” You can go read the entire agreement at your leisure.

@Keneboss164433 @Blue_Footy A suspended sentence only applies if you break the rules again in that period. If you don't you're clear. So, no ban on first team transfers.

@Blue_Footy @FootieWriter Remember you are still under revenue neutrality agreement with UEFA so and signing must include a sale to balance the books. This is why there will be no big signing without a big exit.

Conceding five goals from under 1.0 xG should honestly be studied. Chelsea were dreadful, PSG barely even had to play. #CFC

@FootieWriter Wtf are you talking about? Up until the 75th minute Chelsea were easily the better side. The brain dead moments in the last 15 minutes is the reason for the scoreline. PSG had 0 shots between the Dembele and vitinha goals

We spent all that time turning Sánchez into a decent keeper just to bench him and start the exact same rehabilitation programme again with the next one. Incredible efficiency. #CFC

@FootballEra_ This might be one of the worst takes I've read, ever. I'd usually just think it was rage bait and move on, but I genuinely think you believe that and I can't even start to detail how wrong it is in tweet form.

Caicedo in the last few months has genuinely been one of the worst midfielders in the premier league. Can’t organize build up, can’t control tempo of games, gives the ball away recklessly, kicks shins, concedes dangerous fouls, and gets suspended. The fact that he was compared to Declan Rice is embarrassing.

@nick_elt Yes. Then he was sent off for the denial of it. Just allow the goal. It's chicken and egg.

Question? How can you send someone off for denial of a goal-scoring opportunity when the goal… wasn’t actually denied? VAR strikes again.
