For those who misunderstood this tweet, I understand the good intentions of those who want to make Orthodoxy more accessible and accepting to LGBT people. But that movement makes me uncomfortable nonetheless because I would rather those people be liberated from religious authority than find exceptions within it. For example, Zionism allows us to be Jewish in the modern age without supernatural elements, so they should move to Israel and live exactly as they please while still incontrovertibly Jewish.
