You’ve now had more than two full days to play Football Manager 2026… Describe it in one sentence.

Of all the utterly mental things about FM26, the ‘do it’ button for ‘a goal or two’ might be my favourite

And when they fix the shit, let’s embrace the changes. No point in us all crying because the scouting screen isn’t the exact same as it was in FM13.

So yeah it’s weird. It’s really really good and also really bad. But they have a chance to take on all the feedback now, fix the bugs, and I think, somewhere, deep down, there could be the best Football Manager in years.

I’ve been waiting until I’d played for long enough to give an honest opinion of FM26, becuase I’ve seen it getting absolutely hammered online. So here it is:
