The #Packers leadership structure is the best in the NFL. The board holds the President accountable. They have more patience than the knee-jerk reactions we see from singular owners, and they handle succession planning like a full-time job. The President holds the GM accountable. The GM has the same accountability as any other team, but under the calming direction of the board instead of the nonsense emotional, reactionary decisions that come from an owner who understands traditional business more than they understand what it takes to build a successful football franchise. No ulterior motives. No threats to leave town. No petty personal vendettas. No rush to win a ring before the owner dies. No cycling through a new regime every other year and firing everyone before their plans can come to fruition. Just unlimited stability with a primary focus on building a winning football team for the long-term. It's the best structure in the NFL.

For fantasy (and now betting), I loathe the first 1-2 weeks because it seems most pitchers are limited with counts or not built all the way up. Maybe WBC helped with that this year 🤷‍♂️. TB & K props are good focus early. For games I like to search through home underdogs w/ solid SP for F5’s.

@Don_K_Williams @VotraZack Agreed. And this is not just a coaching thing. Players should understand how to give clear & specific instruction in game to their peers. The vagueness of "pressure," "play simple," "play quicker," and "better touches" doesn't offer much help to your teammates.

“You’re better than that” “You can do better than that” “Unlucky” “Keep your head down” “Get over the ball” All these hundreds of useless negative or all the useless cheer leading coming from coaches needs to stop. Clear & Specific instructions to specific players about specific situations when absolutely necessary. Other than that? Sit, take notes, discuss with assistants & key members, figure out solutions & adjustments if necessary. By match end, a coach should know exactly what training will be like that next week.

So many coaches just screaming “that’s not good enough.” Cool. That’s helping.
