@its_mirrors I mean it looks like you just added in extra color noise. lol

For some reason many of the textures associated with the castle in SM64 have a lot of color noise. I have provided examples with color-edited versions so its more apparent. Textures for other areas don't have this issue.

Although the Famicom can only animate small sprites, using the scrolling feature makes it possible to make vehicles drawn in the background appear to be moving. In this scene, by creating the guardrails and center lines as sprites, the vehicles appear to be driving.

@supirorguy @Cheesymanfredo I have mixed feelings on the Nintendo DS. Sure it’s a cool handheld, but the touch screen gimmick seemed to be forced by Nintendo and onto the devs. I’ve played games where normally you just walk around, but now you have to touch the screen with a stylus to move the character.

A Hungarian Steam fan was pretty mad when his brand-new Steam Controller got mistakenly shipped to the UK instead of his home. After he reached out to support, Valve quickly apologized, explained that the mix-up had hit only a small batch of packages, and rushed to fix the delivery. To make up for the hassle, they let him pick any standard Steam game he wanted. He chose Forza Horizon 6 (worth around 70€) and now he’s a lifelong Valve fan.

@MalckieRob @playhardgames Buying games back then was so strange. There were no reviews, you just took a chance and hoped the game was good. And even if it wasn’t the game, if it was all you had for the weekend, you “made” it the best game!!!

Just me play Clockwork Knight on Sega Saturn. This game caught my attention as kid and immediately brought at a local retro store in Upstate NY for $20. It originally released as a launch titles and this came out a couple of months before Toy Story #RetroGaming #SegaSaturn
