@9071Seik The problem I have with XCloud is that the refresh rate is capped at 60hz, if they were to upgrade it to 120hz it'd probably be good enough to where it'd feel like you're playing it normally.

That's just the state of halo infinite after the network overhaul update back. No latency compensation + more player collision = this right here.

Ngl most of the fights I lose in infinite are down to a) melee inputs not even going through , b) getting stuck on map geometry because keyboard movement is limited to eight directions and c) long range fights where nothing hits despite being on target because I get descoped.

@TyraSnipes_TTV @uvinity That was probably on the old netcode but I still have it happen on occasion. nowadays it mainly only happens when both payers have a noticeable delay or just extremely strange circumstances

@Forcifyy I once watched an HRL match where two players ninja'd each other. It may have been @uvinity IIRC.

It's been in the game for a while now but here's a few instances of "player collision".

@Lunnzies Part of why I feel this is worse in infinite is to do with how they tried to tinker with collision on the old netcode, like player models are much heavier now because of it. That's at least my theory anyway

@Forcifyy Yep. People wanted all the bells and whistles back and weren’t ready for what came with it. Networking is hard

@HaloTutor @Whaccd yeah but now there's a probability you get flung across an entire room just by a guy simply sprinting into you or in some cases just walking in your general direction. I've been launched out of the map plenty of times from players simply sprinting at me as they miss their melee

@Forcifyy I don't even know - for arena yeah 2k would be insanely good, but everyone and their mum can hit 1500 for slayer so who even knows , but I will say I've matched into very high level sweats in 2200-ish MMR lobbies in slayer, so I guess it is pretty solid.

2k MMR achieved for a playlist for the first time ever.

@TyraSnipes_TTV Arena is more strict compared to the subcategory playlists. I always thought it's just because I grind FFA Oddball a lot and only farm kills so my OBJ rating is really low, but idk tbh

@Forcifyy yeah that is very strange for arena - I've seen that bullshit though for ranked snipers before - one account that hit onyx the split before placed D5, another placed P6

Onyx for Ranked Arena finally achieved, and I did it duoqueueing with a duo that is now almost 1900 with no smurfing / boosting bullshit.
