Happy Sunday Afternoon! Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. I took a road trip to Goderich and visited some friends. I thought we were just going to hang out, eat some good food, and have a catch-up, but they decided I needed proper cheering up, and a night "on the town." Their plan was to take me to the Legion to see some live music. At first I thought, "eh, I dunno." But, they insisted, so I put on some lippy and out the door we went. The place was packed as Saturdays at 6pm they have a meat draw. You purchase tickets in the hope of winning some meat. The whole idea makes me chuckle. From 5-9pm they have live music. At 6pm the band takes a break and they call the winning ticket numbers. It's quite a spectacle. I did not win any meat, but I did enjoy myself, and the band. Lots of rain and fog on the way home, but at least there was no snow. It's all two lane highways, so pretty much stress free with no 400 series highways and the crazy drivers. The drive there and back gave me lots of uninterruped time sing my heart out to my playlists and to think, which was good and bad, but mostly good, I guess.
