I think ive posted this before but I uncovered this old concept I did for fun a while ago when Doom TDA dropped, I may try and refine it out more and model it soon because I found it pretty neat! missing a lot more details on the armor pieces but I think its pretty cool!

@gruntdotapi I have respect for all the developers put on it, I know none of them intentionally wanted to make a not great game and I'm sure there were limitations for stuff, but imo it's just better to leave it in the past 😅 I will say I did like some of the updated soundtrack tho!

While I understand the marketing purpose, I wonder how the developers involved in HCEA feel seeing their work receive so little recognition.
The art direction may have been debatable, but the game wasn’t bad-looking.

@AlexB207Swag Yesss make the game overcomplicated to the point there needs to be an AI assistant to make a class this is what we wanted COD!!!
It's insane its at that point, not hating on progress but I will always prefer the older more streamlined attachments system

@Forerixal @gruntdotapi I agree. I'm honestly okay with remastering old games the way halo CEA was done if the price is right. But like you said, it's kinda lazy. If it was $60 for an asset swap, I'm not happy. If it's sub $30, I'm pretty stoked for a remaster of a great game I've already played.

@WreckedelkJr @BlizzardBoi1257 I'd go as far to say they did stellar given the circumstances we're learning they were under, and everything being in such an up in the air state at the studio probably didn't help.

@BlizzardBoi1257 The devs tried the best they could with the hand they were dealt (with everything Rebs has been reporting) and with that context I think they knocked it out of the park with Campaign Evolved.

Flawless Cowboy isn't better or more faithful, it's just a Fortnite themed interpretation of the OG game with some cool ideas from Campaign Evolved thrown in as well!
