Forest Dunes welcomes Michigan native Austin Rivet to the management team as lead assistant golf professional. A PGA Class A member since 2020, Rivet spent the past six years as the lead assistant at Oak Tree National, a private club of over 400 members in Edmond, Okla. While at Oak Tree he was responsible for daily outside operations of the club, including managing the outside operations team, golf shop merchandising and administration of competitive events. The Hartland native earned a business degree from Ferris State University. His educational experience included brief stints at Kalamazoo Country Club in Michigan, Marriott’s Stone Mountain Golf Club in Stone Mountain, Ga., and Preston Trail Golf Club in Dallas, Tex. Austin is a Titleist staff member and certified fitter. He and his wife, Brenna, have a daughter Prue (born January 2026).

Our refreshed Captain's Room is the perfect spot for your captain's dinner, birthday party, baby shower, corporate meeting and more. In addition to new tables, chairs and lighting, the room includes a big screen TV with video conferencing capabilities, speakers, gas fireplace and privacy curtains. The finishing touches are being put on the new Raven cottage that will open in mid-May. This privately owned home will be the largest accommodation of our Stay & Play offerings while sleeping 12. It features six bedrooms, 12 queen beds and an open kitchen, dining and living area that rolls into a covered deck overlooking Lake AuSable. The walk-out lower level features another living area with poker table and wet bar. There will be a paved patio with fire pit for those perfect northern Michigan nights under the stars. The Raven is perfect for large groups that need multiple accommodations as it is right next to the Redhawk, Falcon, The Legacy and all the villas. Monday through Wednesdays there is an option for just eight guests to book the Raven with access to two of the bedrooms locked off. Forest Dunes today revealed its logo for SkyFall Golf Club, the forthcoming Gil Hanse-designed member course scheduled to be built on the property. SkyFall’s logo encompassing the image of an athletic archer aiming for the stars was derived from several inspirations and ideas, such as Sagittarius and historical petroglyphs located in Michigan. As of this morning, all three The Dual at The Loop events have been filled for 2026. There was record-setting interest this year with 850 entries for the 92 spots in the field. Lottery entries were submitted from 34 states/provinces covering all four corners of the United States from Washington to California to Florida to Vermont. Those who were not fortunate enough to be selected, check your email for a chance to add to the waiting list for the date of your choice. We are just two weeks away from the lottery registration window for The Dual at The Loop events. The Duals are a rare opportunity to play both the Red and Black routings of The Loop in the same day. It's a two-person best ball event with gross and net prizes. The field for each event is limited to 32 teams so a lottery is held as demand for this one-of-a-kind outing is massive.
