The recent ice storm affected our job fair schedule and we have added two new dates next week. Forest Dunes today revealed its logo for SkyFall Golf Club, the forthcoming Gil Hanse-designed member course scheduled to be built on the property. SkyFall’s logo encompassing the image of an athletic archer aiming for the stars was derived from several inspirations and ideas, such as Sagittarius and historical petroglyphs located in Michigan. As of this morning, all three The Dual at The Loop events have been filled for 2026. There was record-setting interest this year with 850 entries for the 92 spots in the field. Lottery entries were submitted from 34 states/provinces covering all four corners of the United States from Washington to California to Florida to Vermont. Those who were not fortunate enough to be selected, check your email for a chance to add to the waiting list for the date of your choice. We are just two weeks away from the lottery registration window for The Dual at The Loop events. The Duals are a rare opportunity to play both the Red and Black routings of The Loop in the same day. The Loop-Black No. 4 is Tom Doak's favorite of all 36 holes that comprise the reversible routing. It's a short par 4 that is wide open off the tee but only a good drive up the left half will give you an open look at the green which is hidden in a dell just over the crest of the fairway. If you've driven right, beware of the pot bunker at the right front of the green, but also keep in mind the green runs away from you.
