Attorney General Paxton Makes History by Securing a Landmark Healthcare Fraud Settlement that Creates the Nation’s First-Ever Detransition Clinic and Secures $10 Million from Texas Children’s Hospital for “Transitioning” Kids: texasattorneygeneral.gov/news/releases/…

lIf you do anything today, watch @MaeveHalligan at the Cambridge Union. I genuinely think this was the first time many people in that room were confronted with the hard reality of the trans debate, rather than the slogans that usually surround it. @BuckAngel was exceptional: calm, articulate, humane. Ultimate respect. And then there was Helen Webberley. I remember once thinking the criticism directed at her by GC women was excessive, especially the claim she was ‘pure evil’. After hearing her speak, I no longer think that. She is totally insincere. I can deal with hard ideologues- they believe they are telling the truth; they are genuine, @HelenWebberley is different. One audience member, a trans-identified male and former patient of hers, stood to speak during points of information. His account of how he had been treated was deeply disturbing. Watch the full debate. It is worth your time.

The Supreme Court has engaged in an ugly recidivism that has marked the fastest rollback of Black political rights since Reconstruction. 18 year terms limits on Justices now. Expand the court from 9 to 13 Justices now.

This new PhD dissertation from the University of Victoria’s School of Indigenous Governance contains two typos in the first sentence. The author uses her “intersecting lenses of being a chronically ill neurodivergent Two-Spirit Mississauga Nishnaabe Lucbanin artist and scholar” to convey the importance of “ancestral knowledge encodements” through beadwork. She claims “colonization” is why we think “body, mind, spirit, land, and material expressions of culture” are separate things. This is what happens when universities treat “Indigenous knowledges” as co-equal with science and view any criticism of these claims as forms of colonial oppression.

It is comforting to know that the state of California is treating death row inmates (who will die of natural causes long before they’re executed thanks to endless appeals) just as well as the homeless population - which watches porn on the taxpayer dime in public libraries.

NYU professor @JonHaidt, who has stood at the forefront of the movement to challenge academia’s culture of suppressing the free exchange of ideas, is facing a campaign to cancel his graduation address. nytimes.com/2026/05/13/us/…

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has issued a statement about our "porn for prisoners" story, claiming that the state-issued digital tablets are giving inmates access to "the Bible" and "education." This is gaslighting to the highest degree.
