#Permaculture principle “small and slow solutions”. We have been preparing the land for a food forest for a few years. Over the last year we planted trees that produce edible crop- cherry, fig, heart nut and yesterday we planted some beechnut. #foodforest @AfriNoonPerm

Stage 1 of path making has started in the Food Forest! These paths won't be connecting to the roadway this year, but we want to get the ones closest to the plants done first so we don't disturb the roots. #foodforest #frederictonbotanicgarden

Do you remember the permaculture favourite? 🤓 Here we have another pic from pollinator.sanctuary (IG), who’s captured a photo of the sorrel plant in Oregon, 🇺🇸! It has bright lime-green leaves with dark red veins, which are best harvested when young and used raw in salads 🍃
