Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1 really delivers a breath of fresh air, something different but engaging. Frank Castle isn't the Punisher yet, but his codename is the Punisher. We got a mix of war story, spy, thriller, and action. This isn't canon, but it worked like a charm in terms of setup and action. I'm not an expert on Jonathan Hickman, but he delivered a great story with the art of Adam Kubert and Hesli on colors. I'm really looking forward to this one. Great start, and highly recommend. Rate: 8/10 (and I could give 8.5, easily)

FX has quietly been responsible for some of my favorite shows over the last few years: The Bear, Shōgun & going back a few years- Sons of Anarchy. The thing I loved about Sons is that behind all the drugs & gang violence is a story that’s rooted in heavy themes of loyalty & family. Charlie Hunnam is also utterly outstanding. I miss this show.

chud will hopefully be out next week. the only thing keeping him in is the failure to appear warrant. even though he was in davidson county’s custody the night before court & then was relinquished back into montgomery county as part of what seems to be a pre-planned plot to keep him in as long as possible. once out, chud will be evicted from the home he’s lived in for 10 years. we are looking for a new place to live, as he is now being ordered by the court to report the address of where he will be. any donations to help fund our move and daily expenses in the meantime is greatly appreciated. -alexis
