A Ghanaian lady has recounted how she was attacked by unidentified machete-wielding individuals who attempted to rob her during her morning walk along the Spintex KFC to Accra Mall stretch on Wednesday.
Fortunately, she had gone on the walk without her mobile phone or any valuables and was able to escape after an approaching vehicle interrupted the attack.

@The_Godfadaa @NtimFordjour They’re on a mission to make NDC unpopular..settings
English

@NtimFordjour Ghanaians literally begged you not to pass the E-levy. You went ahead , passed it and to spice them, you organized a party with an E-levy cake to celebrate. Learn to sit some of these things out.

Barely days after 8 Ghanaian tomatoes traders were killed in a gory terrorist attack in Burkina Faso and the injured fighting for their lives, while cocoa farmers across the country are grieving the cruel cuts in cocoa price, JUBILEE HOUSE CHOSE JUBILATION OVER MOURNING! They are happy! That’s really disappointing and heartbreaking!
This is shameful! When NDC Ministers and functionaries died in plane crash, these traders and farmers joined Jubilee House and the entire nation in mourning.
Rather sadly, even after this government failed to repatriate the bodies of victims from Burkina Faso to their respective families for dignified burial, they further failed to mourn them but rather chose to jubilate.
INSENSITIVE GOVERNMENT!

@dbsarpong Where in the scriptures did a true prophet get it "wrong"?
English

Throughout scripture, the prophetic ministry is the most controversial.
A lot of interesting scenarios.
One thing stands out, a prophet of God can still get it wrong mostly based on their bias, preemptive declaration or God teaching them a lesson of humility.
El Bernard has a track record of fulfilled prophecies beyond logical predictions.
A lesson is being taught.

In 2011 I skipped school to perform in Ibadan. Asa, Peju, B Red and Sina picked me up from Babcock and we drove to join the Lynxxx and Friends Tour. I had no idea it was going to air on Soundcity, and when my pops saw it I got in so much trouble.
14 years later, we destroyed the stadium. The 5ive Alive run across Nigeria has been one for the books.
To my peers let’s build back home and give back to our roots.
Big love to all our sponsors for backing this historic tour.
Abuja and Lagos up next, but next stop is ATL for my birthday, State Farm Arena on November 20th!

@realbenaggor @Popony_J I am not sure he described long hair as immoral. Also hair grows back, not sure how hair fits in secondary school and importing hair correlate. Kindly educate me
English

@Popony_J Between 2021 and 2023, Ghana spent over $250 million importing wigs and hair extensions. Does Haruna Iddrisu realize this? If that doesn’t alarm him and challenge this outdated idea that long hair is ‘immoral’, leading to cutting girls’ hair then we are in trouble.

@AdjarteyEbene10 @dkbghana Out of curiosity…what is the broader picture?
English

@dkbghana Shame on you. Even tho the prices of petrol and the dollar rate are down but has it change our lives. Has the price of kenkey and size changed too…No!!! Please let’s stop this propaganda and look at the broader picture and help lives in the community.

@charllycolegh Npp men paid someone 240 cedis yesterday to vote for them today. How about that?
English

@JoyNewsOnTV Everyday “we shall win to save Ghana”
Nso wicked people nkoaaa
English

@NtimFordjour It’s amazing how the Npp suddenly cares so much about Ghanaians. We would have loved to see this last year smh
English

@MrIrish3 @JoyNewsOnTV It’s really funny when these Npp faithfuls talk about worst president. Smh
English

Your man couldn’t name one policy… ladies and gentlemen, this is your president.
if it’s about leadership with this your mass dismissal of public sector workers, killing of innocent civilians, bawku conflict and many others, then you don’t have it. You’re the worst president.
The reality is that, the NPP built a strong foundation which was predicted by international bodies to yield some positives within the year, unfortunately we lost power.
Under your 4months leadership, foreign investors have lost confidence in our economy. Infact FDI that generated 1.7billion dollars in the last quarter of 2024 has dropped significantly to about 400million dollars within just 3months under your administration. A whooping 76% drop. No clear plan/policy to protect them.
The same cedi that’s appreciating due to the global trade war is predicted to rise to 16cedis before the year ends. This is the aban papa🤦🏽♂️
English

“Someone asked, ‘Can you point to a single policy you've implemented to make the Cedi appreciate?’ I responded, ‘It’s not about just one policy — it’s about effective leadership. With the right leadership, we can turn this economy around. That’s my commitment.’” — President Mahama responds to Bawumia | #JoyNews

@SIKAOFFICIAL1 lol Mahama can sit any how he wants, Npp should free us pls
English

Nana B has advised President Mahama to be more mindful and cautious in his actions, noting that although the majority of Ghanaians entrusted him with the mandate to lead, the same people are now expressing concern over some of his decisions just five months into his term.
He added that the President appears to be taking the electorate for granted because of the overwhelming support he received in the elections which is an attitude he believes is inappropriate.
