@TruthMonger2100 @McClureShawn I thought I was depressed so I'll take sad which is a step up.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @McClureShawn You sound so sad.
English

@mcsquared34 About to have a trillionaire? Only one? What's wrong with us that we only have one trillionaire?
English

"'You are lazy' isn't an ad hominem argument."
Ad hominem: "Attacking a person's character or motivations rather than a position or argument."
Yes it is.
"I have asked you some very specific and for the topic important questions."
Why are you asking me to answer your questions? You have access to the internet... Find the answers yourself. Go read a book. Go back to school.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist "You are lazy" isn't an ad hominem argument. Especially when you're lazy.
I have asked you some very specific and for the topic important questions. You refuse to answer, all you done is to request me to read the bible. We are done, bye 👋

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist You're lazy.
On contrast to many Christians I have read the bible, but not memorised it. I do know that the words "biological", "DNA" and "chromosomes" aren't in the bible, not even something similar.
English

@054durin @Maximumatheist I did answer: "You can consult the Bible for this information..." You don't need me to read the Bible for you. I'm sure you can find a copy written in Swedish.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist I asked you. AI basically provides the answer we want when it comes to this type of topics.
In addition, I'm not here to have an argument with Grok or some other AI. If you can't answer, just say that.
English

@054durin @Maximumatheist You can consult the Bible for this information or ask Grok or Gemini: "Of what does the Bible say that God is comprised?"
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist A framed it as "biological life" in order to not confuse it with some other type of "life", like artificial lifeforms or "spirits" (whatever that is).
The question to you, is your preferred deity a biological lifeform? Is it based on DNA & chromosomes?
English

"... biological life was created by something..." In my opinion, by God.
"... abiogenesis as a concept." As I understand it, the theory that life originated from non-life.
"Your explanation is "magic" while I believe in natural processes, but both are abiogenesis." I apologize. I'm not sure what you are stating here. I see you are from Sweden. That will make communicating difficult since I am unfamiliar with Swedish. I wish you well.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist By "Creationism" I guess you mean that biological life was created by something we can't define as biological life. If yes, you also accept abiogenesis as a concept. Your explanation is "magic" while I believe in natural processes, but both are abiogenesis.
English

@054durin @Maximumatheist My preferred deity was life from non-life, abiogenesis. I thought that was truth. I've matured in my thinking from that belief. I believe in a Creator, now.

English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist The word "denial" is defined as "refusal to accept the truth or reality". Are you claiming that the existence of your preferred deity is the truth and reality?
If yes, please demonstrate that.
Please also show me any commonly used dictionary that use your definition of atheism.
English

"Dont pretend you arent a christian." I didn't mention that I was or that I wasn't. You assumed I was. What does pretending have to do with that?
"You ARE judging." Judging what? I am judging now, however. Since you believe "Every christian [sic] is dishonest," you are delusional.
"Your doctrine doesnt define behavior." Christian doctrine doesn't belong to me, it belongs to the Christian religion.
Atrocities? To what do you refer? The holocaust?
You joined twitter in 2012 but have just 128 followers. I understand why.
You didn't answer my question. Care to address it: "Do you believe everyone is dishonest or just me?"
Other questions. Don't you have anything better to do with your life than attempting to belittle Christians? Did a Christian do something to you at one time in your life that you resent or are bitter about?
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @AtheistPhoenix Every christian is dishonest. One cant defend absurd beliefs without absurd justifications.
Dont pretend you arent a christian.
You ARE judging.
Your position is dishonest.
Your doctrine doesnt define behavior. The ongoing atrocities speak for themselves.
English

"I explained where you’re incorrect..." No, you informed me that you have a different definition of atheism than my dictionary.
"... all you do is ignore me..." I've responded to your posts.
"... double down on your lies." Yes, it appears that by using a dictionary, you think I'm lying. You're repeating yourself and, it appears, uncapable of a cogent argument.
"There is no reason to take a dishonest person like you seriously, which speaks volumes about what you pretend to represent." If there is no reason to take me seriously, why have you engaged me? If you think I'm pretending to represent something, rather than being forthright with my beliefs, why do spend your time responding?
Do you believe everyone lies to you or just me? If you're a sociopath, what do you accomplish by trying to belittle others? What do you gain by being hostile?
If your interaction with me represents what you have to offer in life, it appears you don't have constructive things to do with yourself.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist What a pitiful response to having your obvious lies called out.
I explained where you’re incorrect but all you do is ignore me & double down on your lies.
There is no reason to take a dishonest person like you seriously, which speaks volumes about what you pretend to represent.
English

"Wait until you learn..." I won't judge, I'll just observe but since Christianity asks it's adherents to love and your experience with Christians is opposite of that, I'm skeptical whether they are really Christians. I've already noticed on twitter that some people are not who they claim to be. These individuals attempt to generate outrage by presenting absurd positions, presumably to increase clicks and responses in an effort to monetize their posts. By you offering, "The every christian [sic] who disagrees with me is not a true christian [sic] excuse," it appears you believe I should judge those Christians I have yet to see or meet in advance and that I should not be skeptical of them. I am skeptical irrespective of your experience. Further, I don't recall offering that I was a Christian. I believe you assumed that since I offered a defense of them. As to the other things you offered regarding Christians, I am aware that the Catholic denomination had and has significant issues with their clergy. Since you believe I'm being dishonest and that I'm lying, you must have a dim view of the people you meet here. Do you believe everyone is dishonest or just me?
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @AtheistPhoenix Ah, yes. The "every christian who disagrees with me is not a true christian" excuse. Totally not a fallacy or dishonest.
Wait until you learn about inquisitors, crusaders, popes and pedo clergy. Oh, boy. Are you in for a suprise about your brethren.
English

"You didn’t post the truth, you lied." Again? According to you that is all I can do. Do you recall my original post? I offered, "... there appears to me to be a significant amount of hostility on twitter regarding belief and faith in God." If you believe, in offering third party definitions of atheism, that I'm lying, perhaps you have a problem with the dictionary that I use but are blaming me for the definition.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist You didn’t post the truth, you lied.
Atheism is a lack of belief(s) in god(s), that’s literally what the word means & how it breaks down etymologically. It’s also not limited to your preferred flavor or interpretation of monotheism.
You need a better coping mechanism than lies.
English

The definition I have for atheism: Denial of the existence of God. That appears to agree with your definition, if I'm reading it correctly.
Has biological life always existed on Earth or in the known universe?
I believe that life on Earth is a function of Creationism. This is opposed to the atheistic view I had until my early 50s. Thank you for your post.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist Atheism is the position of not accepting the proposition "at least 1 god exists" as true. This is the only question atheism address.
Do you believe that biological life always has existed?
English

@ToddOnHigh_ @Maximumatheist A lie is an intentional misrepresentation. Since I posted the truth, you and I must have different dictionaries with different definitions of agnosticism and atheism. Atheism is not lacking belief, it's a denial of the existence of God. Thank you for your post.
English

@ForgiveEveryDay @Maximumatheist Nope; agnosticism deals with lacking knowledge, atheism with lacking belief. They’re not mutually exclusive, in fact they’re quite complementary.
All the claims you made about atheism were lies.
