During my 3 years term as Mayor, I fired 3 DA Mayco members for corruption. In all cases, against the party’s full approval. All 3 of them were kept as Councillors.
I am on record of a senior member of the DA coming to my house for introduction to the MMC of Public Safety and Chief of Police for his business.
