@binghott The fact that there is neither a clean nor easy way to do this makes me think: A) Engagements actually don't matter a lot, so Meta doesn't care about it carrying over. B) It does matter but Meta for whatever reason isn't prioritizing making this clean. Hope it's A lol

Meta media buyers: what's the best way to duplicate old ads into newer ad sets while retaining engagements? (aside from "use existing post") So far, the only thing I've seen is turning off Threads placement at the ad set level. There's gotta be a better solution.

Rank by spend, then by CPMr, then by unique outbound click-rate (assuming the ad takes you to a web page). Whatever is your top 10 here you put into its own ad set and run it for 3 days if you're HV Though I'm honestly not sure if this hypothetical could occur. Doesn't seem like something Meta would do in terms of spend distro

Honest question for all the CBO maxis: Let's say you test 100 ads over two weeks & no single ad spends more than $30 What's your next move? Not "mAkE bEtTeR aDs". I want your specific, step by step framework. (I will share mine soon, but I'm trying to see something...)

Just remember, Meta ships tons of new products in Feb-April. It’s why some of us have multiple versions again of the UI. It’s why we are left to ask…. Is Meta updating something or is my meta just broken? For a week now multiple clients can’t publish partnership ads. It’s a bug. For this entire week we can’t see;etc thumbnails on video ads. It’s a bug. For this entire week breakdowns don’t work for multiple brands. It’s a bug. I use 3rd party services to publish ads, but man the UI in platform experience is a buggy mess right now.

So many comments in this thread is "Hey, here me out: what if we push forth policy that gives makes maternity care a right." Guys, this is the kind of thinking that will doom you for life. Play with the hand that's been dealt to you instead of trying to change the rules. If the rules change in your favor in the future, great. Play that game when or if it ever arrives.

I say this to every young couple I know: Learn to live on his income NOW. Save every penny of hers, and put it towards things that will ease the transition to a 1 income household when you do have kids (like a massive down payment). If it turns out you don’t mind leaving your kids at daycare—great! But if it kills you, you will have an option to stay home.

@kiwitalkz Nintendo’s survival as a business depends on their exclusivity model. Every multimedia effort is to get people to buy their products. They aren’t like Sony or MS where they tons of different business in tech and entertainment. Fair trade off

I have never liked the idea of exclusives, I think its very anti-consumer but I understand it from a corporate standpoint. Most of my inner circle only own a PS5 and they would love to play Zelda: BOTW but they are never going to leave the PlayStation ecosystem. (Nintendo isn't very popular in NZ, its a PS/PC territory.)

Less than 15 years ago, Frank McCourt filed for bankruptcy and opposing fans were making Chapter 11 Dodgers jerseys. If anything, the Dodgers represent the true rags to riches story that all of us Americans love and value. A true comeback story.
Griff@deeptocenter

You know how there’s like certain groups of people who are born into wealth and opportunities, and then they get mad at poor people and claim they just need to work harder? That must be what being a Dodgers fan is like.

Alonso and Bregman are probably the best comps for Tucker in terms of what the plan could be. Take short-term deal, post, opt-out and then get a bigger deal elsewhere. Dodgers get peak performance next 2 seasons and Tucker goes elsewhere for a long-term thing in a market that favors him more

As Passan said, there won't be many options in the market in two years. If he can get like $400MM guaranteed, he'd probably go.

@ChadMoriyama How good does Tucker have to be for him to opt out of the last 2/120? Lol feel like for better or worse we’re stuck with him for 4 years.

Here's how and why creative volume matters for scale. This is the formula and how 1 concept turns into 100+ ads: Concept * Problem Angle * Persona * Format Say your product improves gut health. Concept: If you struggle with X, then it is because you have poor gut health and my product solves it. You can use this across many different problem angles: - If you struggle with A - If you struggle with B - If you struggle with C - If you struggle with D - If you struggle with E So from 1 concept, you have 5 angles already. Then say you have 5 different customer identities. - If you are X type of person and struggle with A - If you are Y type of person and struggle with A - If you are Z type of person and struggle with A - If you are X type of person and struggle with B - If you are Y type of person and struggle with B - If you are Z type of person and struggle with B That turns your 5 ads into 25 ads. Then say you have at least 5 different formats: hi-fi static, UGC static, native customer testimonial, UGC creator ad, GIF. Do all 5 formats for all 25 ads and then you get 125+ ads from a single concept. This is how and why you scale creative volume, it makes your marketing more relevant and personal and that is clearly what Meta is pushing you to do. Also makes it more efficient over time logically. Creative volume isn't taking one of the variants (If you are X type of person and struggle with A) and just making 15-20 iterations of it. That is not what people arguing for creative volume mean. It's taking one concept and then using it across 10 different problems within the concept and across 10 different customer identities/personas. So if you have 5-10 core concepts or problem-solutions for your product, you can clearly see how you can be pushing 1,000+ ads in your account. Just look at some of the quality, purposeful volume some of the big dogs in consumables are pushing...it's not a coincidence and their ads clearly follow this type of pattern/structure.

Looks like yesterday's delivery issue impacted Bid Caps the most. In any account that has them, it broke the bid and ignored rules and spent massively for 2 hrs.

A list of ACTUAL use of AI in our company right now in 2026 that's genuinely a value add, in no particular order. (I am extremely strict with passing the uncanny valley and no slop is allowed) 1. AI-gen images for ads. Fully usable and looks incredible (we are apparel). 2. AI-gen audio for video ad narration. I think these will pass the uncanny valley for 99.99% people. No real use of AI-gen videos yet still for us. 3. Overseas non-native English speakers for copywriting. This includes customer support reply templates. Tremendous unlock because they now speak like a low to mid-level on-shore person. 4. Of course, on-shore native speakers use it for copywriting. Also a tremendous unlock. It allows us to do a lot more A/B tests for CRO for example. 5. Creative strategists, on-shore and overseas, are using it extremely heavily for script writing. I believe this is a tremendous unlock in value. We actually do not have any "senior" creative strategists; everyone is junior (less than 3 years in the industry) but I believe they are producing what would have been a high-mid level creative strategist from say 5 years ago. 6. Market research and business strategy planning/sounding board. Essentially a "business consultant". 7. Teaching myself accounting. I literally do not message my accountant anymore unless it's something more sensitive with the law then I will verify. Bookkeepers and non-strategic accountants are going to be gg'd very soon I reckon. 8. Very very close to fully replace standard PDP shoots but not yet. That's pretty much it. Looking at the entire company, I'd say it's AT MOST 30% of work, maybe less. Inventory planning is something that on the surface seems way more AI-friendly than creative tasks but I don't even know how to begin to implement AI with that.
