Here's the latest paper from our research program on the implicit knowledge of te reo Māori by non-Māori-speakers in NZ. This one looks at morphological knowledge: what do non-Māori speaking NZers know about the internal structure of Māori words? (1/4) cambridge.org/core/journals/…

This new paper, led by @forrestpanther, replicates our previous results showing that non-Māori speaking adults in NZ can both discriminate Māori words from non-words, & judge the likelihood of Māori sound sequences. It uses better, improved stimuli. (1/2) journal-labphon.org/article/id/794…
