The lab’s postdocs nominated Camilla for UCSC’s 2024 Distinguished Postdoctoral Scholar Mentor Award and she was selected! Since she is out of the country, we accepted the award for her at the annual Postdoc Symposium 🙃 Congrats, Camilla!

What an eventful few days at the 2024 CIRM Trainee Networking Conference at USC! It was great engaging with fellow researchers and leaders in the stem cell field! We even met CIRM president Jonathan Thomas and Bob Klein, the driving force behind CIRM’s creation and funding!

The Great Forsberg Lab Bake Off has officially begun! To kick things off, Stephanie and Bryce sabotaged their own cookies as an April fool’s prank. We “enjoyed” spicy, salty peanut butter cookies and licorice chocolate chip cookies 😳😵‍💫

Our current rotation student, Juste, and previous lab members, Angela and Sarah Beth, presented their final rotation posters today! Whichever labs they end up joining, we know they will do great things and we will be here to support them however we can! Good luck you all!
