These electric motorcycles have become a significant issue in our area. For the parents that think we should leave them alone, this video shows the kind of complaints we’re receiving. This video is from a motorist that couldn’t pass them. If your child’s “e-bike” doesn’t have pedals, it’s a motorcycle and not legal for street use. They will receive a citation and it could affect their ability to receive a driver’s license when they turn 16. Note: These motorcycles are $3,000+ and will exceed 70 MPH.

Icing reported on the Brazos River bridges on FM 1489 and FM 1093. FBC Road and Bridge is en route to spread sand. Deputies will temporarily block the bridges while crews are working.
