Died in its sleep last night. I was planning a trip to the vet this morning to have him put to sleep . The kindest thing to do as I think it‘s back was broken couldn’t move legs or anything. ( family flowers only house Private.✝️ ) Became attached. 😩. Here he is this morning. Looked peaceful. RIP.

Baby rabbit was dropped from a cats mouth this morning. ( wild in the garden) There seems to be no movement in legs. The vets tomorrow I think. Poor thing.

One of the earliest coins ever used in America… and it’s my lucky coin. This is a St. Patrick token from the 1600s. Back before there was a United States, before there were American coins, pieces like this were already passing through the hands of the people who built this country. In 1682, a Quaker named Mark Newby brought a barrel of these to New Jersey, and they became some of the first officially accepted currency in the colonies. Think about that. This is the kind of coin our ancestors would’ve carried. Colonists. Sailors crossing the Atlantic. Farmers carving a life out of the land. Tavern keepers pouring a drink at the end of a long day. Maybe even a pirate or two. One side shows King David with his harp. The other shows St. Patrick, a symbol of faith, resilience, and a little bit of rebellion. My grandfather gave this to me. His grandfather gave it to him. Irish roots. Early America. All in the palm of your hand. More than 300 years later, it’s still being carried. My little New England lucky coin. Happy almost St. Patrick’s Day ☘️🇺🇸

Wishing the Irish in Ireland and around the world a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Ukraine deeply appreciates Ireland’s significant support at the political, economic, and humanitarian level, as well as the shelter your country has given to thousands of Ukrainians. May peace and plenty bless your world With a joy that long endures And may all life’s passing seasons Bring the best to you and yours.

Today/tomorrow depending on location marks the Vernal Equilux for Ireland where we hit the point of 12 hours equal day and night and from here onwards daylight gets longer. Clocks spring forward Sunday week with sunset almost 8pm. The Equinox is Friday. Better days are coming!
