Welcome New Player Diego Fuentes The Fort McMurray Giants are excited to announce the signing of Diego Fuentes, a right-handed pitcher (RHP) from New Westminster, British Columbia, for the 2026 WCBL season! Standing at 6’4”, 215 lbs, Diego brings an impressive presence on the mound. He joins the Giants out of the University of Toronto, where he continues to develop as a reliable and competitive arm. Known for his ability to attack hitters and stay composed in big moments, he adds valuable depth and upside to the Giants pitching staff this summer. Welcome Player- Julian Minor The Giants are excited to welcome Julian Minor to the lineup this summer. Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Julian is a 6’1”, 185lb infielder currently playing at Cerro Coso Community College. A versatile middle infielder, Julian brings a strong defensive presence along with a developing bat that continues to trend upward. This season, he’s shown the ability to get on base, drive in runs, and create pressure with his speed—highlighted by multi-hit performances and extra-base ability at the plate. Known for his athleticism and work ethic, Julian is the type of player who can play multiple infield positions and contribute in all phases of the game. His right-handed bat and defensive versatility give the Giants added depth and flexibility heading into the summer. Giants fans can expect a high-energy player who competes every pitch and continues to develop into a key contributor.

Welcome Player- Nico George We’re excited to welcome Nico George to the Fort McMurray Giants for the 2026 season. ⚾ A right-handed pitcher from Smyrna, Delaware, Nico joins us from Keystone College and brings size and presence to the mound at 6’2”, 210 lbs.
