We’re excited to welcome Braeden Dyck to the Fort McMurray Giants for the 2026 season. An outfielder from Oakville, Ontario, Braeden joins the Giants from the University of Texas Permian Basin and brings size, strength, and athleticism to the lineup at 6’0”, 200 lbs. With collegiate experience at the NCAA level, Braeden adds depth and versatility to our outfield as we continue building a competitive roster for the season ahead. A Fort McMurray favourite is back. 🔥 Riley Burns (#7) is returning to the Fort McMurray Giants for his 4th season, continuing a run that’s made him a familiar and respected presence on the mound at SMS Equipment Stadium. A true local, Riley proudly represents Fort McMurray, Alberta and currently plays at the University of Calgary. Last season, Riley logged solid innings and brought experience and leadership to the staff, finishing with: 36 IP | 26 K | 5.75 ERA Having a hometown player commit year after year means a lot to our organization and our fans, and we’re excited to see Riley back in a Giants uniform once again.
