@Dear_Evermarch Probably more so referring to some likes these. And I agree with him to most point. Eva’s animation feels extremely lifeless and simple,not in the good way. I really wish they did more with her creative aspects, like imagine her drawing her creations to life, or day dreaming.

@mwhlmnyy @StarRailVerse1 Wouldn’t it be cooler for enemy to get thrown around it before Eva joins the attack, cutting the enemy into thousands of pieces. Or, even better, what Eva somehow cuts the storm into a unique shape, like a sakura tree. Gives some sort of personality and unique to the move.

@FortonNicholas @StarRailVerse1 Yes they are. Eva’s ultimate looks pretty well-structured and interesting, the big fox forming the tornado, the Japanese text, and the cut all add a unique touch and make it feel balanced. The dark, void-like background gives it great depth too

@mwhlmnyy @StarRailVerse1 I’ll give the fox tornado thing a pass, it’s cool enough. (Cough cough, Feixiao). But does it do anything with it? Also, if adding Japanese text counts as unique, yikes, sounds desperate. Also, the cut at end is totally just Welts ending mix with Sampos ending pose.

@StarRailVerse1 It has no background, no shred of personality, nothing special to make it stand out. Really compare it to what comes before 2 patches ago even, what comes out the same patch. Im not saying flashy equals good, but it’s extremely lackluster compared to most.

@StarRailVerse1 Disagree if you please, Im fine with it. Beauty is the eye of the beholder. But really think about the choreography, background, personality, end blow. It really is just her summoning her spirit, it turning a tornado, Eva running up and lingering on a slash, before ending boring.

@levelrime @StarRailVerse1 Im fine with simplicity, but it feels so lifeless because it has no personality to it, no flair. Fu Xuan has the perfect example of simplicity to it, as remains visually interesting longer for 5 seconds while being very simple down to the moves.
