Day3 M2 Fujinokawa 0-2 (L) Yz Ōnosato 0-2 (R) Fujinokawa gets his first shot at a yokozuna. So.. ahem, I’m no fan of Hoss’ attitude but if we are just talking about yokozuna level sumo - where is all the griping about Ōnosato like always fills my feed as when Hoss is losing early on? Hmm? #harubasho2026

After Konishiki defeated Chiyonofuji in their first meeting in 1984, the Wolf took it upon himself to head to Konishiki's stable to train, feeling the young talent was a threat he needed to figure out through direct engagement. He won their next 8 professional meetings.
