It’s sad that the change in climate conditions isn’t a concern to us as Ghanaians. It’s almost mid-January and we haven’t seen harmattan and nobody is talking about that. #letstalkclimate

What's with these horrible takes these days? Arabic is a language like Kiswahili. In Arabic Studies, they don't necessarily teach about Islam. In fact not at all. It's just the language, like French or any other foreign language taught. I did Arabic in my first year in Legon, no one taught me about Religion, it was about the form of the language
Kudzo@iamkudzo

Why should Government of Ghana fund the teaching of Arabic in Islamic schools? Would we also fund Hebrew, Sanskrit, Pali, Punjabi, Avestan, Prakrit, Japanese, or Chinese in religious and cultural schools too? A secular state MUST NOT selectively sponsor one religious language.

@charcoal_seller @kwakuasanteb Well base line is that statistics shows that there’s increase in drug abuse in zongos due to lack of values and a need to instill values. Again the program was national mosque Ghana and you people are saying it wasn’t meant for makaranta. Watch the full video

@FosuGideon4 Is Makaranta paid for by the state? Before an argument, do your research extensively.

But we teach CRS in schools as well. How do you live peacefully with a religious set of people but inwardly feel intense dislike for them? What’s with this discrimination?

I read the comments under this post and I get reminded that religion tolerance is very selective in this country She just shared her concerns on how she many other Muslims across the world have been thought to handle the Quran and you have people under the comment section attacking for it. Everybody can grieve out their problems but when it’s a Muslim it’s a bad thing?? Wow
SIKAOFFICIAL🦍@SIKAOFFICIAL1

“We place all the Bibles and Qurans on the table. When you come and pick one, they are treated as instruments of work and used as such.” — Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee, Hon. Abena Osei-Asare, responding to a request by the Headmistress of Islamic Girls’ Senior High School, Suhum, Mrs. Safia Salifu, for the Quran to be placed in a separate box, not mixed with any other books or documents and handled only by a Muslim during committee hearings. The only reason you will say Sark is not an intellectual is because he raps in twi. He uses barree literary devices in twi in his songs and you would know if you were actually an intellectual. The irony. I thought we moved past this lazy argument years ago.
Adjo Tamakloe@adjotamakloe

You people are upset because I said Sark is not an intellectual? When has sark referenced philosophy science literature history or even economics?? I’ll give him “nana tuaso” as an economic reference but even that you hail Nana Addo during that time was not a good thing. Maybe I can give Sark credit on Allegory but even that is taken from Akan proverbs. If you like, Cry

@LilTunechi198 @Omojuwa That Spanish team was star studded and around 50-60% of it was players that Pep promoted from La Masia, and ingrained into his first 11 There was a Barca player either in the first 11, or the first choice from the bench for almost all positions

He is. It wasn’t money that inspired the ideas that helped Spain win the 2010 World Cup. It wasn’t money that inspired Germany’s win 4 years later. These were Guardiola’s personnel and ideas. All these teams trying to play a certain way are building on his legacy. All these world-class managers that learnt from him. We can cry and see road at the same time. He is the most consequential manager in football, ever. We can say this and still add, however.

They sacked Arbeloa for José Mourinho, the same Arbeloa who beat Mourinho home and away. If he can’t even beat Arbeloa, imagine what Hansi Flick will do to him . We are here 😂

The US started constructing the Interstate Highway System in 1956, about a year before Ghana gained independence. The US is over 40 times larger than Ghana, yet they have been able to build smooth highways, while in 2026 we are still celebrating sod cutting. Hard truth!

@NanaAssare @Scott_Geelan Dembele was never a flop lol.. he was starting for Barcelona it was just injuries that worried him and some bad character of his. And this comparison doesn’t hold, a player who can’t start in Czech third division and you comparing him to Dembele

“If I sell the water at 50 pesewas, my profit is just about GH¢1. Those who supply it to us sell at GH¢14, so that is why we are forced to sell at 70 pesewas.
