Chatting with a random person today at a business in town. He said “I won’t go near the border until Trump is out of office” I said “Why is that?” He said “Well, because of the way they are treating Canadians at the border and because Trump is in office” I said “where did you hear they are treating Canadians poorly at the border? He said “I’ve been watching and reading the news stories about it” I said “Sounds like you’ve been reading and watching too much CBC and CTV. I’ve been hanging out in the U.S. since the early 80s. I’ve traveled to the U.S. during many presidencies. None of them affect me at all, except maybe cost of living. The ppl don’t change just because a president does. Americans are consistently awesome ppl. A lot of my acquaintances, like hotel staff etc, are like family to me. If you’re choosing not to go, you’re missing out. I’m always treated really well crossing the line. No issues with that, ever. He didn’t really know what to say after that. This was the second person I’ve talked to over the break, too freaked out to go to the U.S. The liberal legacy media did that 😏

I don't shoot the moonrise very often, but when I do, I try to do it during a sunset at #peggyscove with a belly full of fish-n-chips using the #hassleblad X2DII. f/16 @ISO 1600 for a 11". My Benq monitor perished so I confess this edit might have unpredictable contrast as I'm editing on my emergency screen. Enjoy Gavin Hardcastle #fototripper

Australian Striploin Steak is sailed across the entirety of the Pacific Ocean, then it’s trucked across North America to the Toronto market. And it’s $21.78/kg. Meanwhile Alberta Rib Steak is $55.99/kg. In Alberta. Something isn’t right. Canada is utterly, completely broken.

@JohnHil39912325 @erik_thorvalds It's based on my own experience shopping in Montana near Glacier NP. I once paid $6 for two steaks that would have cost waaaay more than that in my home province of NS.
