You will study the tile patterns around the Bibi Khanum Mosque in Samarkand and recreate the central floral composition of the tile design on a ceramic tile that can be taken home to be displayed or used as a coaster. Timurid Tiles Painting Workshop | MIAH Foundation

Join us to learn about the Shah Abbasi motif and create your own painting to take home. Named after Shah Abbas I, the Shah Abbasi motif is a highly stylised representation of flowers and is prominently featured in carpet designs, metalwork, and illuminated manuscripts.

You can still catch the 'Art of the Palestinian Poster' exhibition, which brings together contemporary posters, animations, and films. This work is being exhibited in the UK for the second time at the MIAH Foundation Islamic Arts & Heritage Gallery
