Trees are paramount in curbing air pollution, especially by trapping the particulate matter. We share the agony of all citizens who are struggling to lead a healthier life, especially under the leadership of such authorities.

In a city engulfed in smog, officials are busy chopping and trimming trees. One tree was chopped, and about six were heavily trimmed on Eastern Express Highway (Near Mulund Checknaka East).

Amit, Aman and Ajay died in May 2019 as they were made to enter a septic tank in a society in Thane. It was the first case of Manual Scavenging which we were advocating for by constant follow ups. The families were given compensation after 3 years. #EndManualScavenging

TMC released the compensation only due to the court order under the petition filed by petitioners of Shramik Janta Sangh, Muse Foundation and the family. We are indebted to the support of all our well-wishers who motivated and helped us to facilitate this. #EndManualScavenging

The family of Suraj Madhvi, who passed away due to Manual Scavenging in Thane in 2022 was today handed Rs 10 lakh cheque as per the provisions of Manual Scavenging Act.
