@TypicalGamer @jogo The engine & tools team at Epic is reorganizing around delivering as many useful features and Verse capabilities as possible for building varied and feature-rich games. We had a UE5/UEFN split among the teams previously and now everyone is together.

Hey @TimSweeneyEpic, I love Ballistic and I know there's a dedicated community behind it. Let us at @JOGO buy it from you and we'll maintain, update and grow it. I'd be sad to see this mode just disappear... it didn't get the chance it deserved.

Epic Games will have a company meeting tomorrow to discuss the roadmap for Fortnite and Epic Tim Sweeney said Fortnite now needs fresh seasons, gameplay, story, and live events. The next generation of Epic Games is planned to start at the end of the year with "huge launch plans"

He kept making the team make collabs and he kept shaking hands with companies that he couldn't even afford and had no idea what he was doing. He must've learned this the hard way... he lost 1000+ of his best. Screw Tim Swine-ey.

Tim Sweeney has stated this in terms of the future for Fortnite: What we now need to do is clear: build awesome Fortnite experiences with fresh seasonal content, gameplay, story, and live events; accelerate developer tools with greater stability and capability as we evolve from Unreal Engine 5 and UEFN to Unreal Engine 6. And we'll be kicking off the next generation of Epic with huge launch plans towards the end of the year.

@damBeckwith Adam, As you are the senior artist for 19 years, it's not just hard to see your own friends be run out of Epic, but it's INCREDIBLY hard to. Don't leave epic just yet. Try to sneak in something as a joke for your friends to cheer them up without Epic knowing.

I'm so sad :( I survived the layoffs, but it's incredibly difficult to stomach what my friends, who did not, are going through right now. ugh..

@AlixNewton3D I honestly want to see you go places. Epic Games is a dream to work at, and the layoff kinda ruins the mood. You made these beautiful assets? Wow. Hopefully your job is similar! Might even get a chance to work with ABGO with Donald Mustard i you try!

@ScyanYT I genuinely think this is partly of the end times in the Bible. In the Bible, mass amount of people lose their jobs, and only food is barely affordable. We are reaching these times... But Idk. Maybe Tim is a fucking loser who needs therapy. I don't know.

EPIC - FORTNITE NEWS: I have gone through tweets of majority if Fortnite developers, even ones still working at epic I can clearly tell, they are lost. Confused. Broken hearted and feeling down like they just want to take a break, a rest and not even think about this anymore As it was obvious, i see company moral dropping by a lot from here on, layoffs causing many people in Epic Games to lose passion and only work for making money. Cause there might be no point to being passionate anymore And some Fortnite employees might even want to leave Epic Games for somewhere that respects them more. BUT GUESS WHAT? The entire Gaming Industry is a chaos rn, and with many other companies laying off staff too. Its not even guaranteed these people can find a job somewhere good. Fortnite tweeter has not posted anything in a while, charlie wen is quiet as always, and the director of Fortnite BR is completely silent Developers are talking about how they will try to salvage whats left of themselves to hope they can keep Fortnite going for the sake of us the players But you bet they will be going through a crazy emotionally sad, and hard era. That probably will heavily effect the quality of content coming out of Fortnite for a while Fortnite community might have it hard right now. But don’t forget, the people who made Fortnite even exist are suffering more than anyone else at the moment All thanks to a braindead CEO called Tim Sweeney 🫡
