I said this at Ed TV Fest, but the BBC MUST be the place that takes the ‘risks’. It MUST be where things can have time to find an audience, where talent development is more important than an instant hit. The public pay for it. So let it work for us.

@ChrisGPackham Bloody hell. Anyone from the country knows this is a usual occurance. You phone the bloody farmer, they have a tag on their ear or you phone the nearest farm and they'll know who it belongs too. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the farmer doesn't prosecute!

@northentone Ah darn, batteries sure enough are a pig! Once you get that pack though you'll be sorted. I've got a wet bag and I put everything in there, sometimes leave it out hidden for an hour or if it's for wildlife I'll just leave it out over night. Amazing what comes investigating!

@FoundsoundH It does indeed and I ordered a new one this morning. The only batteries I had to hand last night were some we picked up at the counter in a toy shop last week for my daughters bubble machine. Turns out they are not so great 🤔

Went out for a quick nighttime test record. Couldn’t believe my luck as a bunch of motorbikes were speeding back and forth through a tunnel 😁 after a couple of mins, I looked down and saw my battery had died 😩 #alwayscarryaspare #needapowerbank
