@giddy_fx The system was more important than the players to Ruben. He almost lost Kobbie, for crying out loud! He played Bruno as an 8! All because he wouldn't/couldn't adjust the system to the available players. To be fair, he did do a lot of good stuff, too.

He accepted and took responsibility, promising he would do better. And he had already started doing better and needed more backing from the club, needed more backing in terms of recruitments but the same board that wanted him to succeed declined and he called them out that led to his sacking. I just wish Ruben Amorim won’t be our last good manager post Sir Alex.
